Merge Infinity Lite Strategy - Maximizing Points on a Tiny Board

The compact board in Merge Infinity Lite leaves zero margin for sloppy play. With only 16 cells to work with, every tile placement either builds toward a high score or inches you closer to game over.

Rule number one: never swipe in all four directions. Pick three and stick with them unless you absolutely must use the fourth. Swiping in your excluded direction tends to scatter your highest tile away from its anchor, and recovering from that on a 4x4 grid is brutal.

Keep your largest tile locked in a corner. The adjacent row should descend in value so merges cascade toward the big number. On a board this small, a single three-chain combo can clear enough space to keep you alive for another dozen moves.

Watch the spawn pattern. In Merge Infinity Lite, new tiles appear in empty cells after every swipe. If you leave only one cell open, you know exactly where the next tile lands. That predictability is powerful: use it to set up merges before they happen.

The speed bonus for keeping the board under 50 percent capacity is worth chasing early. During the first 30 seconds, focus on merging aggressively rather than building big numbers. A clean board at the 64-tile stage sets you up for a much smoother mid-game.

When the board fills past 12 cells, shift into survival mode. Stop chasing combos and focus on any merge that frees a cell. One open cell is the difference between continuing and losing. Prioritize space over points in those critical moments.
